Biographical Information[edit]

Nakia Hill played one season in the minors then became a scout.

Hill was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 49th round of the 1994 amateur draft out of high school. He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an undrafted free agent out of college. In 1999, he was 9 for 50 with 3 triples, 4 walks, 12 strikeouts, 6 runs and 4 RBI for the Vero Beach Dodgers, fielding .980 in 13 games at 2B but making 3 errors in 9 chances at SS. He then moved on to scouting, for the Cardinals. He later was a Boston Red Sox scout. He signed Rafael Gil, Jed Lowrie and Anthony Reyes.
