Biographical Information[edit]
Nabil Haddou was the first shortstop for the French national team in an Intercontinental Cup, when he started their 1991 Intercontinental Cup opener against Spain; he had a hitless day and three errors for a rough day. His first at-bat came with someone born on the same day, Gabriel Valarezo. He was 1-for-9 with a double and a run for the Cup, fielding .762 at short, which he split with Guillaume Coste. His hit came off Italy's Massimo Melassi. He tied for third in the Cup in errors (5), one behind Patrice Baudin and Bayardo Davila. [1] He was still playing in lesser French leagues by 2020, at age 50. [2]
