Biographical Information

Muharom has caught for the Indonesian national team. He was 0 for 4 with a hit-by-pitch in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup. He got into three games when Indonesia hosted the 2018 Asian Games for their first Asian Games appearance in baseball. He replaced Jerry Rachman at catcher late in a mercy rule loss to Gold Medal winner South Korea and did not bat or get a chance in the field. Against Bronze Medal winner Taiwan, he started at catcher and hit 8th. He grounded out int he 3rd against Hua-Ching Lin and struck out in the 5th against Chien-Lung Huang then Aditya Muflih Mahmud took over in the 6th. In Indonesia's historic first win in an Asian Games, a 12-11 slugfest with Thailand, he replaced Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar at catcher in the 6th but made a throwing error on a steal attempt by John Daru that cut a 11-3 lead to 11-5. He fanned against Sakai Phraechai in the 6th, then Mahmud replaced him in the 8th.
