Mohammed Sherrif
Mohammed Sherrif was the starting right fielder for the Ghanaian national team in the 1999 All Africa Games. He hit .375 with 3 steals and 7 RBI. He was third on the team in RBI, behind Paul Manoma and Joshua Amponsah. He also started the game against host and Gold Medal winner South Africa and allowed 13 hits, 2 walks and 15 runs (13 earned) in two innings, striking out two, before Richmond Dogbe relieved. His 45.00 ERA did not lead Ghana's staff as the other two hurlers that day, Dogbe (54.00) and Henry Agyepong (47.25) were both higher.
