Biographical Information[edit]

Min-ho Lee has pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization and for the South Korean national team.

Lee was selected by the NC Dinos in the special round for expansion teams of the 2013 KBO draft, and he had a 4.21 ERA in 56 games with 10 saves in his first season. He then collected 8 holds and 2 saves with a 5.01 ERA in 51 games in 2014, and he went 6-5 with a 5.06 ERA and 10 holds in 2016. Lee was a swingman in 2017, and he was 9-9 with a 5.51 ERA and 3 holds in 45 games. He then represented Korea in the 2017 Asia Professional Baseball Championship. Lee surrendered a walk-off double to Tatsuhiro Tamura of Japan, and Mizuki Hori got the win over him. He then allowed a solo shot to Ryoma Nishikawa in the Gold Medal Game, and Japan won Gold with a 7-0 score.

The Busan native notched 14 saves with a 4.68 ERA in 50 games in 2018, then he suffered from right elbow injury and he only pitched 11 games with the big club in 2019. He then missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he stayed in the minors for the entire 2022 season. Lee never recovered from the injury, and he was placed in the minors for an entire season again in 2023. The Dinos then released him, and he signed with the Samsung Lions. However, Lee struggled again, and he was released in September.

Overall, Lee was 33-24 with a 4.88 ERA, collected 31 saves and 28 holds in 337 appearances, struck out 470 and pitched 529 1/3 innings in 7 seasons in the KBO.
