Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Mike Moriarty was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the seventh round of the 1995 amateur draft and had a cup of coffee in the majors with the Baltimore Orioles in 2002. In eleven seasons in the minors, he hit .243 with 74 homers and 413 RBIs. He missed the entire 2006 season due to an injury and joined the Pittsburgh Pirates organization as a coach for the State College Spikes in 2007. He later was a Seattle Mariners scout, signing Patrick Kivlehan and Steve Proscia.
