Biographical Information

The grandson of Jim Konstanty, Mike Konstanty was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 39th round of the 2008 amateur draft and made his pro debut that year with the Billings Mustangs. After splitting 2009 between the Dayton Dragons and Sarasota Reds, he was converted to a pitcher with the Dragons in 2010. However, he posted a 6.46 ERA in 9 outings that year and was released.
