Mike Hutcheon

Mike Hutcheon has been a college coach for a number of years.

He was a graduate assistant at Kansas State University (1987-1988) and Mississippi State University (1988-1989). Hutcheon was an assistant coach at Manatee College from 1991-1993. He was head coach at Belhaven College from 1995-1999, going 109-62.

He coached Bethel College to a 130-78 record from 2000-2003. He then moved to the United States Air Force Academy, where he was 51-208 in his first six years. In 2008, his team led the country in triples per game. He also helped develop Karl Bolt, a 15th-round draftee, a very high pick for an Air Force Academy player. He left the Air Force Academy in 2010. In 2014, he joined Colorado Christian University as head coach and was there two years. His son Dane Hutcheon has played pro ball.
