Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Donahue was a college coach.
Donahue played quarterback at Yale. He later coached football and other sports at several universities; he coached baseball at Auburn University (1905-1922) and Louisiana State University (1925-1926). In 1951, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. The future major leaguers he coached in college were: Charlie Gibson, George Grant, Ed Sherling, Sam Barnes, Ivy Griffin, Ernie Manning and Red Smith.
