Biographical Information[edit]
George Grant was an umpire in the Southern Association and Southeastern League before retiring from baseball.
Grant was married to Mary Elizabeth (Madie) Langford and was the father of 4 daughters: Mary , Louise, Frances, and Ann. He had 15 grandchildren.
