Biographical Information

Mike Chernoff has been a GM.

Chernoff was a middle infielder at Princeton University, hitting .244/.317/.275 in 102 games. He joined the Cleveland Indians as an intern in 2003 then was Assistant Director of Baseball Operations (2005-2006) and Director of Baseball Operations (2007-2010). He was Assistant GM from 2010-2015, as right-hand man to Chris Antonetti before becoming GM in October 2015 when Antonetti took over for Mark Shapiro as the team's president.
