Miguel Payano
Miguel Payano was a pitcher for the Dominican national team that won Silver at the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games and then took the 1948 Amateur World Series for the country's first world title. In 1951, he retired 27 straight Puerto Rican batters following a leadoff triple in a friendly match.
