Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Miguel Gonzalez played in the Baltimore Orioles system from 2015 to 2017, spending his whole career with the DSL Orioles. He was signed by scouts Fred Ferreira, Calvin Maduro and Enrique Constante. He was 1-9 with a 7.65 ERA in 38 games (13 starts); in 84 2/3 innings, he allowed 90 hits and 77 walks, while striking out 60 batters. On June 24, 2017, he took part in a combined no-hitter, replacing Dember Vizcaino and being replaced by Frandy Diaz to help blank the DSL Padres in a 6-2 victory.

He died in a car accident at age 21.
