Biographical Information[edit]
Mickey Mena was a popular, award-winning sportswriter and radio and television broadcaster in the Dominican Republic. He covered Dominican Winter League ball as well as the major leagues.
He was a TV broadcaster for the Leones del Escogido and Cibao Eagles.
In the 1950s, he was signed by Horacio Martinez to play in the Dominican League.
