Biographical Information

Mickey Mantle Jr. was the son of Mickey Mantle and nephew of Ray Mantle and Roy Mantle. He played for the 1978 Alexandria Dukes, going 4-57 for a .070 average, with 26 strikeouts. He had 3 walks, 3 runs, 2 RBI, no extra-base hits and no steals. In the outfield, he fielded .947 with one assist in 17 games.

He died at age 47 in 2000 from skin cancer.
