Biographical Information[edit]
Michiori Okabe played for JX-ENEOS in the industrial leagues after college. He was on the Japanese national team that won Silver in the 2018 Asian Games; a backup 1B/OF, he was 2 for 6 with a walk. His first hit, off Muhammad Amjad Aslam, ended a 15-0 mercy rule rout of Pakistan by scoring Ryo Kinami with the 15th run, in the bottom of the 5th. In a 24-0 mercy rule win over Thailand, he hit a grand slam off Phanuwat Sukmuang for his other hit. He finished with 5 RBI in six at-bats as a result.
