Biographical Information[edit]

Michele Meschini has played for T&A San Marino. In the 2010 European Cup, he went 1 for 3 with a triple, two runs and a RBI. His one outing on the hill went poorly, as he was rocked for 3 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs in one inning, taking the 4-3 loss against Telemarket Rimini, costing Luca Martignoni the win. He made his Italian Baseball League debut in the playoffs, allowing one run in one inning in 2010 and playing as a defensive sub in the outfield but not batting. In the 2010 World Junior Championship, he started against defending champion South Korea in the 7th/8th place game and shut them out for 5 innings but Italy lost, 3-1. In the 2011 European Cup, he was better, giving up only one hit and two walks in four shutout innings, teaming with Gregory Palanzo to beat the Rouen Huskies (Palanzo got credit for the win).
