Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Lindstrom pitched once for the Swedish national team in the 1994 Baseball World Cup. Relieving Niklas Lidén in the 5th with a 8-0 deficit against Japan, he allowed two walks, a homer and three runs in one inning before David Sunesson replaced him. [1] In the 1999 European Championship, he allowed one hit and no runs in three shutout innings, fanning one and getting a win. He also was 0 for 4, playing some in right field and at DH. He got the win over Josh Chetwynd and Great Britain. [2]
