Biographical Information

David Sunesson was on the Swedish national team for the 1993 European Championship but the teenager did not get into a game for the Bronze Medal winners. He allowed two hits, a walk and three runs (all earned) in one inning in the 1994 Baseball World Cup. In the 1999 European Championship, he hit .250/.333/.375 with a team-high three RBI. He played error-free ball in eight chances, playing RF and CF.
