Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Deeble is the son of Don Deeble and brother of Jon Deeble, both Baseball Australia Hall of Famers. While not as illustrious, Michael was a good player as well, appearing for the Australian national team in the 1981 Intercontinental Cup. By the time the Australian Baseball League was founded, he was on the decline. He appeared for the Melbourne Bushrangers for two seasons, starting at second base. He hit .225/.317/.236 in 1991-1992 and .216/.289/.273 in 1992-1993 while being solid on defense. He later coached for the Melbourne Monarchs.
