Metropolitan Memorial Park
Located in Norfolk, Virginia, Metropolitan Memorial Park opened in 1970. It seated approximately 6,200 fans and was used by the Tidewater Tides, who had just moved in from Jacksonville, FL where they were the Jacksonville Jets, through the 1992 season. After that, the club moved to Harbor Park and became known as the Norfolk Tides. Metropolitan Memorial Park was then demolished.
The ballpark featured the minors' first-ever full-service restaurant.
