Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Merle Keagle played five seasons in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. In 1944, she hit a league-leading 7 home runs as a rookie for the Milwaukee Chicks. She spent the next four years with the Grand Rapids Chicks and led the circuit with 15 doubles in 1946. Overall, she hit .266 with 12 homers in 337 games.
