Matthieu Martel
Matthieu Martel played for the New Caledonia national team.
In the 2003 South Pacific Games, he was their top hitter, going 7 for 16 with 7 runs and four RBI. He led the team in hits (no one else had more than 4), runs (two ahead of Jérôme Dangio) and RBI (tied with David Durand). He tied John Salas for 9th in runs for the Games and tied for 9th in hits. [1] In the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games, he was only 2 for 18 with a run and a RBI. [2] He won Silver with New Caledonia in the 2007 South Pacific Games. [3]
