Biographical Information[edit]

Matt Murray has been a college coach.

Murray was an assistant coach at Claremore High School from 1998-2001, then was head coach from 2002-2006, winning 151 games and taking two state 5A titles. In 2005, USA Today ranked Claremore as the #11 school in the nation at year's end. Moving on to college coaching, he was an assistant at Kansas State University (2007) and the University of Central Missouri (2008-2012), with three NCAA Division II World Series trips with the latter school.

In 2013, he became head coach of Pittsburg State University. After going 80-118 in four seasons, he resigned after the 2016 season.
