USA Today is a national morning newspaper published Mondays through Fridays. Its baseball coverage is quite extensive, and covers the whole of Major League Baseball as a result of the paper's nationwide readership.
The paper also publishes "Sports Weekly", a weekly publication covering MLB, NFL, NASCAR, and NCAA baseball. From 1991-2002 the weekly print magazine was titled "Baseball Weekly", and did not report on other professional sports.
Writers have included Sandy Grady, Bill Jenkinson, Phil Musick and Lisa Winston.
USA Today sponsors a number of baseball award, including the USA Today Minor League Player of the Year Award and one for the top high school player in the nation.
