Biographical Information

First-baseman/pitcher Martin Johnson played ball in a local independent minor-league club in St. Jerome, QC before moving to the Rouen Huskies in 2011. He was 2 for 20 with 7 strikeouts in the 2011 European Cup; on the mound, he allowed three runs in six innings. He relieved Keino Perez in the 8th against Parma with a 4-3 lead, one on and none out but allowed the tying run then served up a 9th-inning homer to Luca Scalera as Rouen failed to complete the upset.
