Biographical Information[edit]
Mark Wilson pitched in the independent leagues then became a scout.
Wilson was 1-2 with a 5.62 ERA for the 1994 Minneapolis Millers in his pro debut. In 1995, he pitched for the Thunder Bay Whiskey Jacks (1-1, 8.25, 22 H in 12 IP), Saskatoon Riot (3 R, 1 ER in 3 IP) and Chaska Valley Buccaneers (1-1, 2.84, 7 H in 12 2/3 IP). He then went into scouting, becoming a part-time scout for the Minnesota Twins in 1999 and working his way up to be their Midwest and Canada area scout. He signed Joe Mauer, Brian Duensing, Cole De Vries, Glen Perkins and Mark Hamburger.
