Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Mark Snyder was taken by the Cleveland Indians 12th overall in the 1982 amateur draft, between infielder Steve Stanicek and catcher John Russell, and ahead of pitcher Todd Worrell. He spent three years in the minor leagues, never playing above low-A ball.

He pitched 6 innings for the Batavia Trojans in 1982, posting a 3.00 ERA. After not playing in 1983, he went 0-2 with a 4.05 mark in 13 1/3 frames for the Trojans in 1984, allowing 21 hits. He was 0-3 with a 11.49 mark in 15 2/3 innings for the Trojans in 1985, allowing 27 hits.

Overall, he went 0-5 with a 7.20 ERA in 35 innings.
