Biographical Information

Mark Filley faced just three batters in his major league career, but his true calling was the law. He served for 16 years as Family Court Judge in his hometown of Troy, New York.

The man himself and all newspaper articles about him spelled his nickname "Mark" but for many years he was listed as Marc in later reference sources.
