Biographical Information[edit]
Mark Davidson was signed as an 11th round pick in the 1982 amateur draft by the Minnesota Twins and scout Red Robbins.
When he played for the Twins his nickname was Country.
His father, Max Davidson, was a minor league outfielder 1947-1954. His son, SS Logan Davidson, was selected #29 in the 2019 amateur draft. He served as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, Clemson University, in 2018 while Logan was studying there.
