Mark Aucutt is currently a sports anchor and reporter with KOMO 1000 Newsradio. Mark graduated from Washington State University with degrees in broadcast communications and business administration.
Before joining KOMO in 2003, Mark was a minor league baseball play-by-play announcer for nine seasons, with four major league organizations. His stops included five seasons with the Everett Giants and Everett AquaSox, which he still works for during the summers. One of his first assignments was working play-by-play for the 1988 and 1989 Kinston Indians. Mark has been a sports director, hosted sports talk shows and broadcast play-by-play for college and high school sports for over twenty years.
