Biographical Information[edit]
Mario Hewitt played for Team USA and in the minors.
Hewitt was with the US in the 1971 Pan American Games, when they won Silver. [1] The Montréal Expos took him in the 23rd round of the 1972 amateur draft. As a utility man for the 1972 Jamestown Falcons, he hit .355/.460/.570 in 46 games. In 1973, he played for the Quebec Carnavals (7 for 31, 6 BB) and West Palm Beach Expos (.313/.476/.344 in 11 G). He had hit .324/.444/.465 in his pro career.
