Marcos Agramonte is a former minor league baseball second baseman who played in the Texas Rangers organization in 2001 and in independent baseball from 2003 to 2006, save for a spell in the San Diego Padres organization.
He split his rookie professional season between two teams, the Savannah Sand Gnats (72 games) and Charlotte Rangers (10 games). Although he hit .324 with Charlotte, his overall season average was only .201 because in 252 at-bats with the Sand Gnats he hit only .183.
In 2003, he played for the North Shore Spirit, hitting .309 with 19 stolen bases and 15 triples in 88 games. He also hit 12 doubles and three home runs. He was a Northeast League All-Star that year.
He split 2004 between the Spirit (58 games, .281 average, 16 steals) and Mobile Bay Bears (4 games, .100 average, 1 steal), the Padres Double-A affiliate. Overall, he hit .274 with 17 stolen bases that year.
In played for the Spirit once again in 2005, hitting .290 with 30 stolen bases in 91 games. He played his final season in 2006 with the Sussex Skyhawks, hitting .287 with 21 stolen bases in 84 games.
Overall, he hit .275 with 96 stolen bases in his five year minor league career.
