Biographical Information[edit]
Marc Tramuta briefly played in the minors then became a scout.
The Los Angeles Dodgers took Tramuta in the 45th round of the 1991 amateur draft, one pick after Jacob Cruz. He hit .242/.320/.258 in 75 plate appearances for the 1991 Yakima Bears, with 21 strikeouts in 66 AB. He fielded just .846 at shortstop. He later scouted for the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays. He signed Alan Farina, Graham Godfrey, Justin Jackson, John Maine, Chris Ray and Jarod Rine. He then moved to the New York Mets system, where he became the scouting director in 2017.
