Biographical Information[edit]
Manny Sarmiento was one of the early pioneers to the major leagues from Venezuela. Manny has an outstanding singing voice, and twice while a player for the Pittsburgh Pirates, sang the National Anthem before the game.
Notable Achievement[edit]
- Won a World Series with the Cincinnati Reds in 1976 (he did not play in the World Series)
