Biographical Information[edit]
Manelik Pimentel was a minor league infielder for six seasons in the Seattle Mariners chain.
Pimentel debuted in 2003 with the DSL Mariners. He hit .279 with 10 steals in 70 games for the 2004 DSL Mariners. In '05, he fell to .247 with the same club. Coming stateside in 2006, Manelik batted .251/.305/.444 with 10 homers for the Everett AquaSox. Returning to Everett in '07, he hit .268/.353/.392 and fielded .995 at first base; had he qualified, he would have led Northwest League first basemen in fielding. He ended his playing career in 2008 with Everett (.230/.336/.309) and the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (1 for 3, 2 RBI). He played error-free ball at first base.
