Biographical Information[edit]

Maksym Kiiachenko was a teenager when he debuted for the Ukrainian national team, backing up Yuriy Shvets and Olexiy Glukhiy at 2B and Oleksandr Mamontov at SS in the 2005 European Championship. He went 0 for 4 and had 5 assists and one error. He was 0 for 10 with a walk for the Ukraine in the 2007 European Championship; he fielded .938 at 2B and SS.
