Biographical Information

Mack Hayashi was a construction company executive before being hired in 2001 by agent Alan Nero as a contact with Japanese players. He helped bring So Taguchi and Akinori Iwamura among others to the US. In 2007, he became Director of Pacific Rim Operations for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is credited as the signing scout for Wei-Chieh Huang, Kai-Wei Lin and Bo Takahashi.
