Biographical Information[edit]
Márcio Kikuchi has played for the Brazilian national team.
He won Silver with Brazil in the 2013 South American Championship. He was on Brazil's roster for the 2020 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers before that event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The veteran was Brazil's starting catcher when they won the 2022 South American Championship, going 3-for-8 with two doubles, two runs, four RBI, two walks and a time plunked. He fielded .971 and allowed three steals in three tries. His sacrifice fly off Guido Monis in the title game scored Salomon Koba with the last run in a 2-0 victory. He tied for 7th in the event in RBI and tied for second in doubles.
