Biographical Information[edit]
Lynn Brenton pitched 34 big league games, much of his work coming with the Cincinnati Reds in 1920 and 1921. Logging 131 1/3 innings, he had a 5-12 record, 3.97 ERA and 2 saves.
Lynn also pitched ten seasons in the ninors, perhaps most notably going 17-12 with the 1916 New Orleans Pelicans.
Through 2020 he is the only major leaguer with the last name Brenton, although the full first name of a more recent player, Brent Morel, was Brenton.
