Biographical Information[edit]

Luz Feliciano has played for the Puerto Rican women's national team.

In the 2015 Pan American Games, she started at second base in their opener, going 2 for 4 with a walk, run and two RBI in a win over Cuba. She got the decision after moving to the mound in relief of Katiria Dávila, fanning 3 in 2 1/3 IP and allowing one hit, one walk and no runs to beat Yanet Cruz. Despite only being a part-timer in the Games, she was 4 for 8 with a double, walk, steal, two runs and two RBI as one of Puerto Rico's top hitters; she did not pitch again. She handled 8 chances error-free between 2B, SS, LF and P. [1]

Feliciano was a RF/SS for Puerto Rico in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup. She had four runs versus the Netherlands, then scored three and had three hits against South Korea. She finished at .273/.429/.364 with 6 runs and 12 runs in 8 games, allowing two runs and retiring no one in her one game on the mound (versus Venezuela) and fielding .929. She was named the event's run leader as the official leaders did not count the final day of placement games. Counting those, she tied Shae Lillywhite for 2nd in runs (2 behind Tomomi Nakada) and tied for 8th in walks. [2]
