Biographical Information[edit]
Luke Smith has played in the Australian Baseball League and for the Australian national team.
Smith represented Australia in the 2021 U-18 Baseball World Cup He was 1-for-9 with the Brisbane Bandits in 2023-2024. Smith represented Australia in the 2023 Asia Professional Baseball Championship, and he was 0-for-1 against South Korea in their opener. He was then 0-for-1 against Chinese Taipei, and he went 0-for-3 versus Japan. In the Bronze Medal Game, Edwards went 1-for-2 with a single against Po-Ching Chen, but Chinese Taipei beat them thanks to Tien-Hsin Kuo's walk-off hit.[1]
