Biographical Information[edit]
Luis Nieblas is a minor league catcher. In 2005, he went 2 for 9 for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He returned in 2008, which he spent at four different stops - Lincoln (7 for 37, 2B, 4 BB), the Potros de Tijuana (1 for 9, BB), the Tigres de Quintana Roo (0 for 12, 3 BB) and the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo (.225/.273/.261 in 44 G at his longest stop).
Nieblas split 2009 between the Newark Bears (8 for 34, 3 2B, 3B, 5 BB), the Diablos Rojos del Mexico (9 for 27, 2 2B, 3 BB) and the Tecolotes (.293/.371/.325 in 50 G). In 2010, he played for the Vaqueros Laguna (.329/.368/.500 in 67 G) and the Petroleros de Minatitlan (.254/.314/.365 in 23 G). He then was on the Mexican national team that won Silver in the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.
