Luis Enrique Gourriel Díaz
Luis Enrique Gourriel was a long-time player for Sancti Spíritus. He was the brother of Lourdes Gourriel Sr., uncle of Yulieski Gourriel, Yuniesky Gourriel and Lourdes Gourriel Jr., nephew of José R. Delgado and cousin of Yoani Delgado.
Luis Enrique led the 1985-1986 Serie Nacional with 7 sacrifice hits. In 1989-1990, he paced the eastern division with a .385 batting average.
Gourriel hit .300/.347/.403 in 21 seasons in Cuba.
