Barrios made Colombia's squad for the 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier. He pitched twice, while Colombia got a spot in the 2019 Pan American Games. Against defending Pan American Gold Medal winner Canada, he got the start and went two innings (2 H, 2 BB, 1 R) before Hernán Guzmán relieved. In the tournament finale, he was one of 8 Colombians hurlers in a 17-4 loss to the Dominican Republic. He replaced Ángel Vílchez and gave up 4 hits and 4 runs in 1 1/3 IP; Carlos Diaz took over then.
