Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Louie Letlow spent five years in the minors, playing on-and-off from 1950 to 1956. His best season was 1952, when he batted .355/.463/.530 with 8 home runs, 79 RBI, 29 stolen bases and 12 triples in 114 games for the Eufaula Millers. He led the Alabama-Florida League with 114 runs. He was then taken by the Wichita Indians in the the 1952 Rule V Draft. Overall, he batted .286 in 428 games.
