Biographical Information[edit]
Lou Maguolo scouted for the St. Louis Browns and New York Yankees and signd such players as Bob Keegan, Al LaMacchia, Don Lenhardt, Herb Plews, Lou Skizas, Bob Wiesler, Al Pilarcik, Whitey Herzog, Cal Neeman, Bill Skowron, Norm Siebern, Tony Kubek, Lee Thomas, Bud Zipfel, Fritz Peterson, Jerry Kenney, Dave Bergman and Dennis Werth. For the Yankees, he was their chief Midwest scout for a time.
