Long Beach Aces
The Long Beach Aces were one of the original teams of the Ladies Professional Baseball League in 1997. They remained in the league in 1998, and were winner in the final game played, on July 30th, 7-0 over the San Jose Spitfires. They were declared co-champions when the league suspended operations, along with the Buffalo Nighthawks, but a planned championship series to be played that September never materialized. They played their home games at Blair Field.
