Buffalo Nighthawks
The Buffalo Nighthawks were an expansion team in the Ladies Professional Baseball League in its second season in 1998. They were declared co-champions, along with the Long Beach Aces, when the league folded at the end of July, with a record of 11-5. A planned championship series between the two teams, to be played that September, never materialized. They played their home games at Dunn Tire Park, the home of the minor league Buffalo Bisons.
