Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Lewis Fauth played in the minor leagues in 1944 and from 1946 to 1950, serving in the US Navy during World War II in between. He won ten or more games twice -- in 1947 with the Jamestown Falcons, going 11-5 with a 4.27 ERA in 135 innings and in 1949 with the Lincoln A's, going 14-14 with a 4.60 ERA in 225 innings. He tied Don Swartz for the Western League lead in losses that year. Overall, Fauth was 38-41 in 678 innings pitched.
